Nanoscale Materials & Devices Lab
.
Brief Description about the lab:
The main objective of the nanoscale materials & devices laboratory
at IIT Mandi is to achievecontrolled growth of various 1D, 2D materials and thin films to overcome the
fundamentalchallenges in nanomanufacturing and to develop devices. Some of the ongoing projects arefocused
towards industrial needs in the areas of nanoelectronics, nanomechanics, energy storage, smart materials and
sensors. The established research laboratory will target to play a leadershiprole in the scientific community
andindustry by carrying out quality research work towards vaporphase growth of materials and development
ofdevices for optoelectronics, MEMS and sensor
applications.
